Nora Jimenz
Nora has a B. A in Spanish Language from the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico. She was in charge of the reading program in a K-12 private school in Mexico. Nora worked as a Spanish instructor at a private school in San Leandro before joining the TRS team in 2008. She took a Classroom Leadership course at The Montessori Foundation and a Early Childhood Assistant Teacher Course at Montessori Teacher Education Center of San Leandro in 2009. She started the primary Montessori training 2015-2017 at the Montessori Northwest School in San Francisco. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters.
Maritza Hurtado
Joined TRIS in 2014. Maritza is the English Montessori Guide-in-Training in the Sycamore Classroom.
She was born and raised in Oakland, but has worked with children in Mexico, El Salvador, and the US. Outside of school she loves to hang out with her family (especially her 3-year-old son), and when she can find time, she likes to watch documentaries
