Nora Jimenz
Nora has a B. A in Spanish Language from the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico. She was in charge of the reading program in a K-12 private school in Mexico. Nora worked as a Spanish instructor at a private school in San Leandro before joining the TRS team in 2008. She took a Classroom Leadership course at The Montessori Foundation and a Early Childhood Assistant Teacher Course at Montessori Teacher Education Center of San Leandro in 2009. She started the primary Montessori training 2015-2017 at the Montessori Northwest School in San Francisco. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters.
Maritza Hurtado
Maritza was born in Oakland, California. She has over 15 years of experience working with children. She has worked with children in Mexico, El Salvador, and the United States. She received her Early Childhood Education units from the Montessori Teacher Education Center in San Francisco. She came to TRIS in 2014 and currently works as a Spanish-speaking assistant. In her spare time, Maritza enjoys reading, photography, and music.
