Ms. Zavala
Montessori Guide
Ms. Zavala has been working at TRIS since 2013. She was born in Mexico and moved to the United States as a child. She has an Early Childhood Education and Child Development background and has worked with young children since 2010. Adriana is a certified Montessori Guide with a Montessori Diploma from the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). Ms. Zavala is a proud mom of two wonderful children. She loves to bake and learn about photography, and enjoys working with younger kids and admires their innocence and fun personalities.
Ms. Cisne
Early Childhood Program Coordinator and Montessori Guide
Ms. Cisne was born and raised in the Bay Area and joined the TRIS community in 2017. She has a BA in Psychology from the University of San Francisco and a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of San Diego. Ms. Cisne received her AMI Montessori training and certificate for ages 0-6 from the Montessori Institute of San Diego in 2011. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, dancing, and reading.
Ms. Barovetto
Montessori Guide
Ms. Barovetto grew up in Ketchum, Idaho. She has lived up and down the California Coast for over 20 years, and currently lives in Oakland with her two cats. Ms. Barovetto has worked as a nanny, an infant toddler teacher, and an au pair in Italy and Costa Rica. She is in the process of obtaining her AMI certification with primary aged children. Ms. Barovetto enjoys exploring nature, riding her bicycle, gardening, yoga, music and all the arts. She is very excited to be part of the Sequoia team, and the TRIS community.
