Preschool Spanish Guide


Ms. Navarrete obtained her BA degree in Spanish Language, Hispanic Literature and Culture from SUNY (State University of New York) College at Old Westbury. She has always looked forward to working with children on immersive language instruction. One of her memorable teaching experiences involved a trip to her native country of El Salvador, where she volunteered her time as a substitute English teacher at an elementary/middle school. Prior to teaching at TRIS, Ms. Navarrete was a Spanish teacher for a non-profit and was excited to join the Oak team in November 2015.

Beatriz Munguia

Ms. Munguia


Ms. Munguia was born and raised in the Bay Area and joined the TRIS community in 2021. She came to TRIS with a background in Child Development. She has been working with children since 2014. She is a proud mom of two children. She is working on receiving her AMI Montessori Training.

Priscilla Vazquez-Medina,  Preschool Spanish Assistant

Preschool Spanish Assistant 


Ms. Vazquez-Medina was born and raised in the Bay Area. Her family is from Mexico. She has a background in Child Development as well as training from The Montessori Teacher Education Center San Francisco Bay Area (AMS). Ms. Vazquez-Medina is the Spanish assistant at the primary level at TRIS who enjoys the Montessori philosophy. She has been a part of the TRIS community since winter of 2015.
