The Renaissance School, a Montessori School in Oakland, Announces Openings for Three and Four Year Olds

OAKLAND, Calif., Aug. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Renaissance School, www.therenaissanceschool.org, a San Francisco Bay Area Montessori school for children from two years old through middle school, is currently accepting applications for the 2011-2012 school year for three and four year old children in its primary program.

Students in the primary program are from ages approximately 2.9 years through 6 years and engage in the school's curriculum that has a strong music, arts and language immersion component. Students at The Renaissance School are taught in English, French and Spanish. In the primary years, the language program begins with children learning either French or Spanish.

"We pride ourselves on educating the whole child in an international environment of learning and culture that engages and inspires students to become life-long learners who are curious, creative and imaginative," says Leslie Hites, the school's founder and head of school. "We encourage parents to tour our school and observe how students thrive in our Montessori program that integrates a program rich in the arts, music and language."
