International Children's Film Festival

We are very pleased to announce a new Renaissance School event: The Second Annual Bay Area International Children's Film Festival (BAICFF): Saturday, January 23, 2010. Mark your calendars!

BAICFF is a one-day only festival showcasing family-friendly films of high artistic value from many different countries. BAICFF provides an opportunity for families to come together to celebrate art, culture and diversity: all vital and fundamental aspects of life in the East Bay.

Program highlights include a short documentary directed by TRS elementary students on their trip to the Yucatan Peninsula.

We hope you will join us for the festival. Invite all your friends! And friends of friends! It will be a great community event.

We would also like to ask for your help in finding sponsors for the festival. All proceeds go to support programs at The Renaissance School.

If we secure a handful of corporate and food sponsors, all costs will be covered and more money will be raised for TRS. We think we will have the most success within our own parent network. We can provide you with all the support materials you need to make an inspired pitch to your company.

TRS is the Best Pre-school in Alameda County!

We were selected as the ‘Best Pre-school in Alameda County 2009’ by the folks at Best of the Bay TV. As such, each month, our 1 minute video will be shown on the Best of the Bay TV program, on two select days of each month. This month’s episodes will air on:

Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 1:30pm PT, on local channel KRON 4 and

Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 5:30pm PT on local channel KRON 4
